The Green Arrows team is looking for a new Head Coach and to build its wider team of Coaches and Assistant Coaches. These roles can be paid or voluntary and come with support to complete a package of qualifications that can be tailored to suit your individual interests. Anyone can train to be an artistic swimming coach, you do not need to have taken part in the sport, what you do need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Artistic Swimming Head Coach – You will lead and manage the Club’s team of coaches and poolside helpers to provide an effective, progressive and inclusive training environment for all the Club’s swimmers. This is a paid role offered at £16 per hour. To qualify for this role you will need to hold your Level 2 artistic swimming qualification. Please note the club would be willing to support a coach who already holds a Swim England Artistic Swimming Coach certificate at Level 1 to qualify as a Level 2 Coach in preparation for taking on this role. Artistic Swimming Coaches – You will work with individuals and groups of swimmers at our weekly traning sessions and attend events and competitions as necessary. This is a voluntary role. You will need to hold your Swim England Artistic Swimming Coach certificate or be willing to work towards achieving this within your first 6 months with the club, all the costs associated with this training will be covered by the club. Artistic Swimming Assistant Coach – You will work with individuals and groups of swimmers at our weekly traning sessions. This is a voluntary role. You will need to hold your Swim England Assistant Artistic Swimming Coach certificate or be willing to work towards achieving this within your first 6 months with the club, all training costs will be covered by the club.
